The Louisiana Tech University School of Design (SOD) is a place for individuals who embrace the challenge of creative problem-solving and of making things well. 

As a community to support the development of future artists, designers, and architects, the SOD creates opportunities to learn the art, the craft, and the ethical practice of being a professional artist, designer, and citizen of the contemporary world. Mentored by a diverse faculty who are active as professional artists, designers, architects, and scholars, the SOD seeks to prepare students to pursue their work with focus, creativity, and purpose.
